DR. JAVIDI, CEO/FOUNDER OF DIGITON, APPOINTED TO SOCIETY OF LEADERSHIP OF CHANGE ADVISORY BOARD

Holly Springs, NC, August, 2004 – Dr. Mitch Javidi, Founder and CEO, of Digiton Corporation has been appointed to the advisory board for the Society for Leadership of Change.

The Society for Leadership of Change is a professional membership association that provides members an opportunity to come together to share and discuss their knowledge, philosophies and proven tools that have allowed organizations to successfully lead and deploy effective change.

The association offers an inclusive membership and is not orientated toward one industry, single tool or philosophy. The society boasts a wide range of professionals with expertise in areas such as: Six Sigma, Lean Enterprise, Benchmarking, Supply Chain Management and Leadership of Change.

About Dr. Javidi

Dr. Javidi earned his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma and is an internationally recognized strategist in change management, demand management, competitive positioning, and global marketing.  He has received honors including: Distinguished 2004 Alumni by Oklahoma State University’s Department Communication and Management, Person of the Year In 1998 by the National Society of Accountants in recognition of his market research and strategic counsel, Honorary Member in 1999 by the United States Department of Defense Special Operations Command in recognition of his strategic contributions to the core, and the academy of Outstanding Teachers at NC State University. In addition to being the CEO and Founder of Digiton, Dr. Javidi is an Adjunct Professor of Management at North Carolina State University and Director of Pharma Forum.

Dr. Javidi is a frequent speaker on competitive intelligence and market strategies for various industries including life sciences, telecommunications, retail and service. He serves on the board of the National Association of Corporate Directors and select private and public corporations.
